A candidate applying for service under Government of
Sindh shall be required to do so, on prescribed form
and attach relevant documents. This Section includes
Regulations for applications by candidates residing
within the country and those abroad. Members, Staff
Officers and Staff at SPSC are expected to be fully
conversant with this Section in order to scrutinize
the received applications in accordance with the dictates
of the rules formulated.
Candidates’
Responsibilities While Submitting Applications.
The candidates must:
a.
Use prescribed forms only.
c.
Write legibly.
d.
Columns not applicable must be struck off as “NA”.
e.
Sign the application form and record the date.
f.
Attach all relevant/required documents.
g.
Address application to Secretary, SPSC, Thandi Sarak,
Hyderabad.
h.
Further correspondence with regard to the application,
if any, should be referred to the Secretary, SPSC,
quoting:
(1)
Name of the post applied for.
(2)
Department.
(3)
Advertisement Number and Date.
(4)
Name and Father’s name as given in the application
form.

Submission
of Applications by Candidates Residing within the Country
An application by an eligible candidate shall be submitted
on the form(s) prescribed by the Commission, as amended
from time to time, in accordance with the instructions
to the candidates attached thereto, before the closing
date. The application may be submitted either personally
by the candidate or marked through postal/courier services.
No officer or official of the Commission is allowed
to submit the application(s) on behalf of any candidate.
Submission
of Application by Candidates Residing Outside Pakistan
If the prescribed application form is not available
to a candidate residing outside Pakistan, he/she may
apply on plain paper indicating his/her name, age, qualifications,
experience, domicile, post applied for, Department and
Advertisement number along with all available documents,
as required vide rules. The application duly completed,
may be sent through post, courier service or fax, but
must reach the office of SPSC on or before the advertised
Closing Date. Such candidates shall however, be required
to go through all the stages of the process prescribed
for selection and submit prescribed application form
duly filled in along with documents on return to Pakistan,
as required in case of other in-country candidates.

Rejection
of Application at the Outset
Applications that fall in following categories are NOT
to be accepted and rejected at the very outset:
a.
Those received at the Commission after Closing Date
advertised for the post, for any reason including
postal delays.
b.
Applications which have not been submitted on prescribed
form(s), as amended from time to time.
Receipt
of Applications at Commission’s Office All
applications must reach the Commission’s Office(s)
in Hyderabad or Karachi or Sukkur on or before the Closing
Date and time advertised by the Commission. If the Closing
Date fixed for receipt of application is declared a closed
or national holiday after release of the advertisement,
the next working day shall be considered as the Closing
Date.

Applications
Submitted by Medically Ill Candidates
If due to illness, a candidate fails to submit his/her
application within the Closing Date, he/she may be allowed
a grace period of two weeks (14 days) beyond the Closing
Date, provided:
a.
he/she presents a medical certificate from a recognized
hospital stating that the candidate was admitted as
indoor patient from the date of publication of the advertisement
in the newspaper to the Closing Date announced therein.
b.
he/she had informed the Commission of his/her illness
prior to the expiry of the Closing Date.
Change
of Closing Date for Receipt of Applications
Unless otherwise altered and notified, the Closing Date
for receipt of applications from the candidates shall
be as declared in the original advertisement. No extra
time shall be given for postal transits, delays, non-receipt
at address etc.
Late
Receipt of Applications Applications
received through any means after the Closing date shall
NOT be entertained.
Recruitment
Through Written Examination
In case of recruitment to posts on the basis of written
examination, the Commission shall, subject to these
Regulations, issue separate press notification giving
necessary details for the information of the candidates.
