POLICY
The
Commission is fully competent to make Policy Decisions
to prescribe detailed procedure for the selection process
and other allied matters/issues etc. These decisions may
be an elaboration/amplification, amendment or an addition
to the existing Policy Decisions or may be a totally new
set of guidelines on any pertinent issue. Such decisions
shall be subservient to the Sindh Public Service Commission
Act, as amended, and in conformity with the rules prescribed
by Government of Sindh on the subject
The
procedure for recruitment entails progressive chain of
activities which are reactive in nature and spread over
a period of time. It commences with receipt of Departments’
Requisition at the Commission and terminates with the
final Recommendation formulated on merit and submitted
by the Commission to the Government of Sindh. Tabulated
below are nine distinct milestone which are time consuming
and sensitive, and are achieved during the process of
recruitment of various posts:
a. Receipt of Requisition at the Commission.
b.
Publication of Advertisement in the national/regional
newspapers.
c. Issuance of Application Forms.
d.
Scrutiny of Application Forms.
e. Acceptance of Application Forms.
f.
Tabulation of Merit List after conduct of Written
Examinations, Written Tests and/or Short listing.
g. Conduct of Interviews.
h.
Formulation of Recommendation List for submission
to the Government of Sindh.
i. Issuance of Press Release announcing the Final Results.
